Enchanting the chaos

I made a pot of coffee and a giant pan of peanut butter marbled brownies with chocolate frosting this afternoon as the fourth baked-goods-based attempt to distract myself from the feeling that I will ( Read more... )

Money is so emotionally confusing. Thankfully, there are sometimes brownies.

♥ I loathe money, so I'm right there with you. I hope your baking therapy was delicious!

Grant is the actual greatest. And LOL yes, I bet he DID create Gerard Way out of magic. (More to the point, I'd totally read that story...)

Baking therapy was super delicious, it certainly helped me forget how ridiculous money is for a little while.

Grant! I would also read the story where he created Gerard out of magic!

Being an adult is overrated in every way. Money is hard and keeping on top of things is hard and baked goods help a lot. ::snuggles you lots::

And now I want to go play in the snow in your back yard.

The snow in my backyard is WONDERFUL. There is so much of it, but it is pretty and white and wintery.

I just wanted to say that you are probably the most amazing person ever.

"It took me maybe 10 minutes to reach the creek, which is usually two minutes away, and since every step was this comical hurdle-leap, I had to stop and catch my breath half way there."

I KNOW RIGHT?! The snow is starting to melt where I am, but we're getting another one on Tuesday night. /o\ nooooo!

I started throwing it on my lawn. The little strip of grass between the sidewalk and the street is about three high now. I beasted the shit out of the last one on Wednesday, so I'm hoping for a break here. I'm supposed to get 1-3inches which isn't that bad. I NEED TO GET TO WORK EVENTUALLY! X(

Mmmmm peanut butter marbled brownies solve EVERYTHING. Your snow adventures sound amazing! And comical! And like I could never live there because I probably couldn't ride my bike :(

Those brownies were pretty powerful, I have to say. And this winter has been fabulously insane. You could ride your bike around here....if that bike was actually more like a tractor?
