Pretty good, I think! You're right; the original tale is very cracky. I can't recall if I saw the Brettian version done by Granada, but will see when I get to it in my DVD rewatch.

Thank you! And yes, it is. :D I really liked the Granada version of this one, or it made a big impression on me when I saw it as a young'un, anyway - pretty scary stuff, I thought.

Yep, having done the rewatch, I'm certain that I did see it back then, although I didn't have as clear a memory for it as I had for various others. Substitute Creepy for Creeping, heh.

Heh, yeah. The bit I really remember from first watching it is the guy swinging round in the tree, literally going ape - I remember how much it scared me, actually...
