These are all great. I like the last one so much :D

And the second one too. Those are my favorites.

Thank you. :) That last one probably needs to be seen in its actual context, tbh (the situation is possibly not what it sounds like it might be). And the one the second line is from might actually be finished soon-ish. Fingers crossed.

“Those things’ll kill you,” he jovially advised her as she lit up, eyeing the open bag in her lap and detecting a dark glint of gun.

Ohh, like that!! These are interesting! *BOUNCES*

Thank you! :) Again, that's one that possibly only makes sense in context, and it's from a WIP I really want to get finished and out there, but it still needs a great deal of work. It's perhaps a natural pseudo-sequel to something else I'm working on right now, though, so that might jump it up the queue a few places. Possibly.

Ohhh, I love those pseudo-sequels! They always find a way to wriggle into the WIP Folder don't they? *Laughs*

*Thumbs up*

Harriet, he thought, heart stopping for a beat, mind racing and imagining again, making up terrible stories and knowing that they might not be terrible enough.

Ohhh... *worries terribly about Gerald and Harriet"

It's certainly a rather grim pickle in which they find themselves, but I'll confine myself to that for the time being. The WIPs featuring first two lines above are quite likely to see the light of day sooner rather than later (although I can make no promises as regards scheduling), but the others are possibly a bit more "IP" at the moment. Or less "IP", possibly. You know what I mean. ;)

A grim pickle doesn't really bear thinking about, even for Torchwood! ;-)

Ooh, I love the last one - very 70's MAN paperback! I hope there's no terrible three sentence sex scenes though.

Heh, thank you! I take that as a great compliment indeed. :D I'll try to avoid the bad three-sentence sex scenes, but I can make no promises...

Four sentences? Oh man;p

(I do wonder why they bother to put such short scenes in though)
