The Aralis event was pretty awesome, and I am saying that despite there being utterly miserable weather for all of Saturday (until about 2:30 in the morning Sunday morning, when it randomly became kinda amazingly awesome and warm), and the fact that I managed to twist my ankle pretty good going up and down the stairs. Way to go, staff.

"- realizing that most people in town managed to miss Fathom being deathed in the middle of the Garandi political mess, despite the fact that she was standing in the center of a group of people and the guy threw a death at her from 5 feet away. "
oooh really wish I was there. For the Politics.. not the death =P

It was (and remains) a little tense. And really, it is exceedingly lucky that Squint did not notice the death, or the violence that followed would probably have been worse.

I'm so sad I had to leave early - so many things unsaid that needed to be said! :)

And yeah... talking needs to happen. Killed me a bit that you had to leave early on Sunday.

So I take it Niocolaus was driven off with minimal casualties? Course now he's zeroed in on New Liberty...great.
Be well.

I can't wait to tell Phoenix about 'the worst plan ever to work' and how we used it to drive off Nicolaus for the time being. You'll love it ;-)

Given that the fireworks surrounding that incident were pretty epic on their own, it's probably just as well that Phoenix wasn't there to see it and that Squint missed it entirely.
So I take it Niocolaus was driven off with minimal casualties?
Yeah, it went way better than we had any right to expect. We need to talk a lot at some point.

Oh my goodness, that was perfectly hilarious when you translated it! Much snickering ensued.
Also, "Let's go to couch!".
C.O.U.C.H. - what a fitting acronym. :)
Was glad to go along on some late-night excursions with you, and to be in on bad plans for how to get Fathom away from the huge undead. Lots of fun. And I hope your ankle continues to get better!

Yeah, those were some epically bad plans. Fathom was exceedingly unhappy with those plans, even if she agreed to go along at the time. Yay not having to use them!

Oh, I'm sure many of us are in that boat. I would survive so much longer if I remember that I have things like parries and avoids at the right moments...

It's just that this weekend, I couldn't seem to remember anything useful I could do...
