The door turned, this time a minute or so earlier than usual. Harry had been trying to put a bit more effort into these appointments, his trip to Maui doing more than soothing things with Skylar. It had relaxed him, too, made him really take into consideration what was absolutely important.

And he found that, perhaps, therapy was a lot more than he thought it would be.

When he saw Megan, he nodded his head in greeting.

"Hey-"

She was thrilled to see the knob turning precisely a minute and thirty-seconds before he was due to arrive.

"Good morning, Harry," she said brightly, trying not to reveal her nerves.

Her fingers released their tight grip on his file and pointed toward the seat in front of her desk, "Please, take a seat. I want to talk with you for a moment before we start today."

His brow furrowed as he took in her demeanor, wondering if there was something wrong. She might be a therapist, but he'd been trained for years in body behavior. And something was tense.

But still, he didn't say anything.

"Morning," he said, a genial smile on his face. "What's up?"

"We're going to try something new today," she said with weight on every word. Megan crossed her ankles tightly under the desk to keep herself from bouncing her feet as she watched Harry take his seat.

She pushed her mouth to one side, then shook her head at herself, and broke out into a smile, "I think you might protest, but I'd like you to keep an open mind."
