I didn't think I was going to do this event, but I ended up doing it and had a great time!. Raleigh is about 3 hours away from Charlotte. Earlier I had talked with one of the members from the 501st Rob about the parade and he offered to give me a ride since he was going and to let me stay with them that night since we'd have to leave so early. Eep, that's an early start! Awesome video, you look great! We have a smaller pageant to do next weekend, with our new SAFF banner, and we are so excited about it :)

Thanks. I feel so big in that costume, it is not my favorite at all, but it turned out well.

How did your new banner turn out?

Hate to sound totally random or nosy, but are you based out of the Charlotte area? No need to answer if you'd rather not, only that's where "home" is for me and it's always nice to find a fellow costumer (and Potter-ite) nearby!

Hey there! I sure am based out of Charlotte. I go to school at USC right now but my home is close to Charlotte. I compeltely understand about Potter-costume friends I don't know too many in the area. Glad to know I have a fellow Potter fan close by! :)
