On Saturday I attended a convention, my first since C4. It was soooo much fun. I am in the middle of midterms and it was so great to get out and just have fun. It helped take away the stress of school. :)

That looked like a great time! And congrats on your new Leia costume, it came out looking really good! Nothing beats that feeling of completing a new costume. :)

Hey, it looks like you had fun! See, the more Leias there are the better :) Peter Mayhew really gets around. Just the weeekend before he was in Sacramento at the convention I went to!

Oh yeah, he had told us he was in California. He is a very nice man and very funny. He was very gracious to us and took pics and signed different items. I got an autograph, but I had to pay for a pic cause i forgot one.

And yes I love having many Leias! I'm so excited cause now the next time we do the Leia photoshoot I can have the classic gown.

An event I went to two weeks ago there were the Charlotte Cheerleaders dressed as Leias. It was a big hit with the guys. I was trying not to laugh, their wigs were so funny.

Oh yeah, I saw the cheerleader photo at SW.com. I think I've seen those braided bun wigs online (maybe Doctored Locks? I can't remember - some place I often visit for hair supplies).

I'm glad Peter was in a good mood! Sometimes the smaller conventions are best because everyone can be more relaxed. Better than trying to speak with him at something as big as C4.

Yeah, they were braided buns. They made their heads look soooo tiny. lol.

Peter was nice, and alot of members were like wanting to talk to him the entire time. I was actually more content just talking with my 501st friends. I think Peter is interesting but he's just a person. I do appreciate him being so kind to us.

And yes, it was ALOT less hetic than C4. I'm sorry your autograph session didn't go so well.
