It was in reference to a subconscious comment that the character made. Because an unconscious comment is really talented sleep-talking. *winks*

Unconcious steps backward are always fun.

Of course sleep-walking can be dangerous. Especially if someone smokes while they're sleep-walking. Like my grandfather's sister.

But unconcious means not being aware. Generally.
Subconcious means something is working at a lower than cognitive level. It isn't registering in our thoughts, but it's still being thought.
