... Actually, if you're seeing green now, I have to wonder about the 13th/14th then. Which was the majority? Brown, or green?

I'd say 50/50. The newer trees are more brown, especially south of the entrance. The older trees have more green showing.

Those are the two entries you made in 2008. It _sorta_ looks like from what you've got above that it's in a state close to what it was on the 21st rather than the 28th, but I'm not sure. Also, the fact that this year is an El Nino year, with more rain probably will affect things.

I guess I'm still tempted to say the 20th, but I have to admit that +-1wk margin of error is starting to look mighty useful as a cover my ass. :|

Yeah, comparing to 2008, I'd have to say that the 20th seems like a good target for the peak of bloomage. Maybe the weekend after for secondary shooting.

I'm planning to go whenever they bloom, and just ignore the whole ALA thing. (Lindz is planning to have more of a costume than I will--I'm either going to just be a Terminator or just enjoy the flowers.) You should do the same. Maybe just stop by and then go do something else after?

I just hope these things get it together by the 20th. If they wait until I'm out of the country I'm going to be irked.

I think they should bloom the 13-14 cuz I have that weekend off lol. Anyway you can arrange for that to happen? :P

I'm going to do some sewing this weekend so I hope to have something done by the 13th just in case.

Otherwise I'll be there on both days of the 20th weekend, but I have no desire to hang out with con people... would prefer just to have multiple picnics with close friends. :)
