While perusing the AJC for local insanities I found that you can get sentenced to two years in prison for poisoning an animal... but only 30 days for killing a 6 year old girl.And don't give me that bullshit that the guy who killed the girl did it unintentionally. He crossed a double white line and illegally passed a MARTA bus. That's intentional

While I definitely think animal abuse should be held to a high standard and not have it go all..michael vick style. Where you serve a small amount of time for A LOT of horrific acts inflicted upon innocent animals...but!

Holy WTF! How did that guy get away with that one? Vehicular manslaughter is vehicular manslaughter. Intent should not play such a heavy hand here, he drove unsafely and the girl is dead!!! That is really fucked up.
