Thanks! I'm feeling very cool with it too. The background is supposed to represent a wormhole, very cool.

That's pretty awesome! I'd suck at designing book covers. They'd all be like the Beatles White album.

Ps, friended you since apparently I haven't yet

Thanks! LOL! Well, photoshop is a bitch program to learn but I'm getting better. This cover looks cleaner, clearer and more professional than my first couple attempts.

Thanks! I can hardly wait to get this out. I'm holding myself back to make sure I do it all correctly and professionally, but OMG, it's hard! I feel the same, you've been a part of the process from the beginning.

How exciting for you! What's the background picture?

Wasn't sure if I should point it out (but I thought you'd want to know), you've got a missed space on the forth line 'IT,EVEN' that you might want to fix before you send it. Sorry.

The background pic is a fractual/abstract representing a wormhole. Which the main character, Cass, creates to access the alien world.

Oh no, thanks for pointing it out! I read over that thing so many times, but there's always something. Hence the reason I order a single proof copy before the big 'release', lol! Plus, though I wanted to share my good news, several sets of others' eyes on this before a publish is always a good idea. So far, you're the only one who caught it (or said anything, lol!) After I posted it around, I also found an unnecessary comma I though I'd already edited out. Sigh, that's okay. Good thing my PS skills are getting better.

I thought a tunnel/spiral of sorts!

Years of working with text in design I can spot a missing (or extra) space a mile away, I can't turn it off now. ;)

Getting something you've created back from the printers is one of the best feelings in the world - enjoy it and congratulations!

I know! I can't wait to hold it in my hands, errors and all! The virtual online editor makes it look really great, but there's nothing like a physical copy to make the final decision on if it looks good or not. Should be here by Fri or Mon at the latest.

I suck at graphic design. I'm a trad. artist since toddlerhood, so digital is slow for me but I'm getting better. If fact, I've already gone back and edited that error by 'erasing and creating a new comma' with the pixels. Quicker and easier than doing it over. The comma is just moved a bit closer to the previous letter, opening up the space from the 'E'. It should make it visually acceptable. And I edited out the extra comma and spot healed the area. No one else will ever know, muahahahaha!
