Back to crocheting again this weekend, and it sure is satisfying. I am working on a new stitch/pattern which will make the back of Liz's pillow beautiful and less boring than plain stitches. It takes a little longer and there are more "don't distract me Tim, I'm counting" times, but I think it will be worth it in the end ( Read more... )

I would be happy to show you. Once you get a hang of the basics, the rest is pretty easy, but it is a little tough to get started. My grandmother showed me the basics in 1972, but I didn't really start crocheting until last September.

Don't know when we'll have a chance to sit down together though. October's booked pretty solid already - even trying to find a day for a lunch date with my daughter has been difficult.

Sometime in November perhaps? I'll have to look at Tim's work schedule, but perhaps we can get some other women interested in a stitching session (weaving, needlecraft, quilting etc) on a Sunday afternoon? Wouldn't that be fun?

How about November 8 or November 22? Can't do it at my house because of the dogs, but even if we can't get a group together, how about you and me and Amanda?
