Crochet Dolls

I have finished my current batch of crochet dolls, and I'm making a pillow for Liz before I start the next ones. I hope to have the ones currently on my list done in time for ECT.

So far I have made:

• Cthulhu for Liz,
  
• Vegtam the Wanderer (Odin) for me,
  
• Corporate Zombie for Meg,
  
• A penguin for Maddie,
  
• Eirik the Red for Annie,
  
• A Spartan for Sascha

Do you think you could make a Hera or an Athena? Either would be so cool and I'd love you even more than I already do (is that possible?) LOL

EDIT: No, forget mine. Could you crochet a Coraline for Maddie and a Jack for Meg???

I haven't seen Coraline yet, but I have some ideas from some images I googled. Is that blue hair?

I should be able to do Jack without too much trouble, but I think I'm going to find a pattern for a little skinny body instead of the normal round one.

Yup. Pretty easy. Blue bob cut, yellow rain coat. :) I'll be posting a pic of Coraline in my journal because Maddie made Halloween very easy on me. She wants to be Coraline for the party.

I was thinking the blue sweater with the stars. Is the raincoat better? Maybe I better rent the movie. I'll have to take a look at the photo on your journal when I get home (darn anti-surfing stuff).

Actually, you were supposed to get Ullr in March. I had all the materials ready and everything. But when the blot got moved to Delaware, I pushed Ullr off. Now the goal is to have him finished by ECT! So it is written so shall it be done! (I have to push myself with goal dates sometimes).

I'm still in love with my Eirikr rauðr! I'm not sure if I want him on my desk in the grad student office where he'd be seen by my students and fellow grads, or on my desk at home where I could show him off to all my personal guests (where he couldn't go wandering).
I meant to say this ages ago but Eirikr came to Ireland with me and lost an eye somewhere along the way. Would you either make another sculpey(?) eye for him, or authorize me to replace them with plastic googly eyes? The little black eyes are endearing of course but I think the googly eyes might be the only thing that can make him cuter.
I actually packed him up a few hours ago - he was hanging out over my altar/shrine/godpiles and that's what got boxed up today. Right now he's squished between Hel, Freyja and a mermaid - I daresay he's comfortable.

I'll bring a pair of sculpey eyes and a pair of googly eyes on Sunday. You can choose which you want to use. I make the eyes in pairs, so I'm not sure what size you had.
