I pride myself somewhat that I can speak relatively good English but I'd be the first to admit that I have no knowledge of the mechanics behind it. Which isn't saying much (except for the expression of my English & Lit teacher when he asked me if I was happy with my O-level results) considering that the standard in the office isn't high to begin
