We were supposed to drive up to NE to be with friends but we are both sick. Bleh. Not a good thing to bring to one house with an elderly and cherished friend nor to the other house where the friend is already hellishly sick. Long day with funeral and gridlock
BFF#1's cousin/ward died extremely suddenly - diagnosed Thursday, dead on Monday, poor guy - and his funeral was today. 2.5 hour drive to pick her and her Mom up at the airport out on Long Island, then the funeral.
