We were supposed to drive up to NE to be with friends but we are both sick. Bleh. Not a good thing to bring to one house with an elderly and cherished friend nor to the other house where the friend is already hellishly sick. Besides, my head keeps spinning from vertigo that is so icky I can hear my eyeballs moving in my head.
However, we decided to deal with our disappointment by mainlining episodes of "Haven" and eating Tom's yummy cookies and leftover Chinese beef shortribs.
(Is it just me or is "Haven" preslashed for our convenience? I mean, just saw the ep where Nathan is digging a hole to bury (spoiler) and Duke comes to help. Um...yeah. Good chat there, guys.
