Jimmg Big Bang Round One Masterlist
1. As I tumble through the looking glass and fall upon my knees

Summary: Jimmy Novak allowed himself to be used as the vessel for an angel named Castiel. One night Castiel abruptly leaves him and Jimmy is left to deal with the aftermath and the knowledge of things he never wanted to know and that his frail human body can not take. When demons hear of the newly emptied vessel they come for it, attacking not only Jimmy but the Winchester boys. During the brawl Dean Winchester is kidnapped and Jimmy must once again call on the angel that had once used him as a vessel. He offers himself up so that Castiel can rescue Dean for a price; he wants only two things. One, to be allowed the release of death now so that he can be free to go to Heaven and two, a promise that Castiel will see to it that his human family is never harmed. If the angel agrees he can have Jimmy’s body forever, save his beloved Dean Winchester and never have to worry about the human spirit that once dwelt within.

Summary: After spending a year in an 'Institute for Disturbed and Troubled Youths' (read: Teen Nuthouse) for 'mild schizophrenia' (read: hearing angels talking to him), 15 year old Jimmy Novak is losing his faith. His parents decide to give him a dog to help readjust to the world outside of the Institute - a fluffy puppy from a shelter, named Castiel. Cas, trapped in the form of a dog by an interfering Gabriel, is determined to help Jimmy regain his faith, and along the way learns a lot about what it means to have a friend. He's not too happy about this Dean Winchester kid who keeps hanging around, probably just trying to get into Jimmy's pants, though he does give pretty awesome ear-scratches... And somewhere, Gabriel's watching and laughing his arse off.

Summary: There aren't too many positives about agreeing to be strapped to a comet, but one of the bigger ones is that Castiel at least manages to keep Jimmy asleep and unaware most of the time - so when Jimmy suddenly finds himself wrenched awake mid-battle he knows this has to be a bad sign. Their attacker is a wild card in the angelic war, one who believes she's the only one truly fighting for the humans, and to that end she's developed a new weapon: a way to enchant her sword so that it can kill an angel without having to sacrifice the vessel. And she's made Castiel her first test. With Castiel wounded Jimmy's forced to take control, and he and Dean set off on a desperate road trip to the security of Bobby's safe room.

As they are forced to occupy the same body they begin to share thoughts, dreams, and feelings, making them both reflect on what it means to love another person. Meanwhile, the apocalypse is raging on, but Team Free Will has a plan to stop it.

Summary: When Sam returns from hell at the beginning of Season 6, he finds everything around him different. Dean and Bobby are gone, the world is in a constant shade of gray clouds, there are no sounds in the air, and Jimmy Novak; free from Castiel; is wandering the back roads of Kansas. Together they set off on a journey to find Dean that leads them to Camp Chitiqua where the rest of the "survivors" of whatever event has taken place, have been waiting for Sam to save them. As the pieces slowly come together of what happened while Sam was in hell, with the help of "The man in charge", Sam and Jimmy find ways to set wrongs right, and learn what it's like to love again.

Sam and Dean debate returning Jimmy to his family, but there’s a new Novak family secret that could push Jimmy over the edge - and there’s something even worse waiting back at the hospital.
