I saw Juno on the plane on the way to Japan in March, and I was quite surprised by it. The ads we saw here made it look really pretty stupid, but it was funny and moving and just a well done film. Check it out for sure when you get a chance!
I definitely will! I'm sad that the ads made it look silly, because over here, the reviews in the newspapers made it known that it was an immensely brilliant piece, and whilte I don't remember the ads being particularly informative as to the content of the movie (though there were scenes of her being pregnant), that was because the ads were layered over with critics' ravings of how fantastic it was...*_*
Thanks for the recommendation! Maybe it's being held up at the board of censors' while they decide how much to snip. hurhur. Or maybe the DVD's just not out yet.
Yay! I had no idea it was available for the watching!...did it come to Singapore? I'm ashamed to say I don't remember...Thanks, now I feel I really should see it :)
...I love it when they put movies in the dock. I'm (I'll admit it!) someone who's had to read more reviews than get to watch the movies themselves, but ah well! :D It's always funny seeing people put eg Godfather 3 in the dock. :D
