HEELLO AND HAVE A GREAT MONTH EVERYBODY!!!!

How are you doing guys? I hope everyone is ok!

I was talking with transaminase (welcome back to lj dude!!) about my plan to scan every picture we have as a family that is in paper. This is going to take some time of course, but I begun from the really ooooold pics that are black and white and have people that are ( Read more... )

Oh wow, these photos are amazing and what handsome men you have in your family!!

Just think, now you have these lovely photos protected on your computer. I've also scanned a lot of old photos, I made both my daughters a photo album with ancestors, family members, old pets and the bracelets they had on when they were born, their first day at school photos etc. It was a project and took quite a long time but I'm really pleased I did it.

That sounds really nice! I'd like to give these things to my children some day as well.

One of the main reasons I begun this was because I was afraid the photos were beginning to "yellow".

I made the task of making the album more difficult because I hadn't done it along the years, I knew I had a lot of stuff but couldn't remember where half of it was. Make sure when you have children that you save all the little momentos along the way and put them in a box so that you'll know where they are when you come to make up an album.

It is so important to keep these old photos safe and now they are, don't forget to make back ups of them.

Yes! It's quite nice to try to find people how have your ears or your eyes and stuff in these old photos!

Unfortunately, I think I mostly look like my grandfather as he is now :P
