I have a bunch of junk running through my head, so I may as well write it all out now, LOL. At least the work "week" is almost over, thank goodness ( Read more... )

Hi THE Jill,

Celebrity Apprentice was the first ever Apprentice I watched. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, but I guess that's because I haven't seen the other season. Omarosa was definitely a B!+C#! I thought Piers Morgan, on the men's side, was too snooty. Come on! A hot dog is only worth maybe $1.00, and just because someone isn't rich enough to donate $100.00+ for one shouldn't mean he couldn't sell that person one >8(! Money, any amount, is money! Cheapskate!

I agree! They should be glad people wanted to give at all. Assuming all "worthy" New Yorkers and tourists surely carry at least $100 is just wrong. (To think of all the "Starving Artists", and I know some who live there, for one!) Ugh. It wasn't terrible, but they really didn't pull that task off so well.

And besides, competing with something that's not a Nathan's "famous" hot dog is tough enough in NYC!

I can't watch the Apprentice anymore after the whole Trump/Rosie fiasco. Was Rosie in the right? I don't know, but the Donald made an ass of himself with his "Oh yeah? Well you're, you're, you're FAT. Yeah, that's it. You're FAT."

I think the most entertaining program that hour was on Court TV (oops, TRU TV). Speeders is like cops except it is just people pulled over for speeding (and drinking once in awhile).

You get gems like:

"I thought it was legal to go 10 MPH over the speed limit."

"My car just won't go under 40."

"I flirt with them. I flash them. Nothing!"

"I'm late for dinner at my Mom's and she makes really good Italian meals" (keep in mind, that was a guy in his late-20's

....and my favorite:

"Why did you write me up for 55 in a 35?"

"Because the speed limit is 35."

"Well it ought to be 50. I want you to change that to 55 in a 50."

I tell you, it's pure comedy gold!

That's one thing that makes it hard...I don't see Trump (nor Rosie) to be all that great after that fiasco. Trump thinks nothing of his stinks, and Rosie is just obnoxious. I mean, do they not have better things and worthier causes they can turn to instead of bashing each other in public? That whole thing was ridiculous. Bleah.

LOL, I should have to tune into that show next week. One of the late-night shows I've stumbled onto a few times that is so random and hilarious is Reno 911! I think that airs on FOX. It's like COPS, but more deliberately over-the-top.

Although, I guess next time I should just turn on Discovery Health, except even that is getting to where I've seen every show that's on, and hell, I wish I could get credit for a medical school with all I've learned! I wonder if Dr. G is hiring? LOL.

I love Reno 911. It started on Comedy Central but has now been put into syndication. Good old Lt. Dangle on his bike.

I know what you mean about Discovery Health. Plus, I'm sorry, but John and Kate and their chemically induced litter has nothing to do with health. It needs to go back to TLC where it belongs.

Just passing through to say hi and taking a look at what people are doing!

Strange, but very interesting.

Uhm, hi!??!?!

Does that excite you, random LJ spammer? Does it really pump your nads to read my boring drivel about politics? If I had to take a guess, I'd guess you were a Bush-supporting Republican! :@ P
