In any case, you have all the empathy in the world from someone who developed a latex sensitivity from working on ambulances. Old socks drive me up a wall, now!

It doesn't have the kind of pattern I'd expect of something that was related to clothing contact or a laundry detergent allergy. There's not a rash in every spot where clothing is in constant contact with my skin, it's just in these little localized spots. If anything, the spots look more like a splatter pattern, except I can't imagine what would splatter my left side from armpit to waist and miss my arm. I guess it could be something spilled on my clothes, but again, I don't know *what*. It's very frustrating, because unless I know what's caused it, I won't know how to remove the trigger. :P
