Glad Amy seems to be learning her lesson. I love how Rose's compassion comes out here too - very IC =)

That ginger-haired girl needs a bit of humble pie in my opinion...

And Rose is ♥ such a beautiful character. I miss her!

I agree with you - it's one of her unflattering features. I don't understand where it comes from exactly except that that's the way she just is....but this sense of entitlement she has - I don't get it. And you're right! I hadn't thought about her compared to Martha but she does resemble her a bit. They just don't take the hint that there are some things that he isn't ready or willing to talk about. Rose questioned him in the beginning (I mean, it was necessary - alien in impossible blue box!), but even after everything (including the *sigh* depressing GitF episode) she didn't question him ( ... )

Agreed.

And OMG I'm sorry...I hope I wasn't spoilery...*reads comment* I don't think I was...I hate when people do that...

And whether one believes that he did tell her things or takes the series as is with no questions (ha!) - it's obvious that Rose didn't question for a reason. Whereas other people make it a bit hard to get a word in edgewise...*ahem*

Yay - you appreciate my rambles :D Thank you!

Thank you :) Those have become my favorite moments between Rory and Rose. I don't know how to explain it well, but I think that in a world without the Doctor they would have been great for each other. And if not romantically, definitely in a friendship. Both are very extraordinary characters in my opinion - willing to not take the spotlight and so loyal to the people they love. So for me, they just fit. And I'm glad that you love how I've written Rose because she is by far one of my most favorite characters ( ... )

I was waiting for the same exact thing! I kept mumbling to myself (and the tv - my bf kept looking at me funny, can't imagine why...) that she wished he trusted her most. I actually gasped and yelled, "NO YOU'RE NOT!" when she said that. Where in the world could she have gotten that, I don't know.
