its natural asymmetry, the spiked roughness of the outside that gave way to creamy, satin-like pinkness inside.

Awww! Geek!Clark is adorkable, I want a boyfriend who will quote the Lay of Luthien to me! (My set of the Histories of Middle Earth are currently taking up an entire shelf in my closet. The Lays of Beleriand is definitely one of my favorites ( ... )

To not have that, for Clark, the uncertainty he faces, is incredibly painful and poignant here.

It's true...being earthly beings ourselves, we tend to forget that the Doom of the Elves is a boon and a blessing, a chance to reunite with the joyous potential they once had. And yes, the uncertainty with Clark is very painful.

Nightwing/Legolas--you wouldn't think it would work, but starsandsea makes it very sweet and wonderful!

I love writing Clark as a total geek. :) Movie Clark seems especially dorky and unsure, so I have a lot of fun with him here...glad you liked!
