Had to lol at Bruce scolding Clark for being unromantic, hehe!
I know! Bruce came up with that line and I was just like, "Oh, Bruce." *eyeroll* He's cute when he's deliberately playing against type. :) Glad you enjoyed!

I always thought that the Doom of the Elves was the saddest thing ever. I love the sea, but I don't think I could ever leave the forest (not that there's all that much forest around my house anyway >.>) for it. To be inexorably drawn to something like that when you have such strong ties to where you are right now would be almost too painful to bear. *sniffles stupidly*
So yes. Awesome job! :D And a birthday to boot! I hope I'm not too late for Japan, it's still the unholy early hour of seven twenty here. (*hides* I'm on summer break!) Happy Birthday!

I love geeky Clark/Bruce moments, and oh, Tolkien's Elves just strike me to the heart. I loved that idea so much...
Glad you liked it!

As has been said, this is a very sweet ficlet. I love the way you worked in a memory of Clark's-it’s quite apt, in fact, as that’s the sort of thing you end up doing in a long-term relationship: sharing little tidbits of your life before them. I must say, I enjoyed Clark’s unromantic physics reference; Bruce just needs to look at it from a different perspective to see the romance. Sound is a wave, after all :)
Happy birthday, by the way,
~ Amy

*blinks* It's true! I'm sorry now that Clark didn't point that out to him, lol. And I'm such a sucker for science being romantic. *happy sigh*
Thanks so much for the comment!
