The first one is definitely Clark/Bruce! I love Sarah McLachlan! :)

The second one sure could be Clark, but it's Dick, Dick, I tell you! ;) It's the "little bird" reference that cinches it for me. LOL!

Ok the first one I have heard before and I really like it! (I have a tendency to not memorize the author or title of songs and I usually know them by the beat) and I can see Clark/Bruce in it.

The second song, like BG said it sounds more like a Dick song but the "Born again like a phoenix" and "rebirth" does makes me think of Clark (and if you want to be obvious Jean Grey).

But yeah it's totally a Dick song that talks about him asking Clark for help (because Bruce fired him from being Robin) and how he will rise up back as Nightwing.

That's definitely the interpretation that makes the most sense. All the falling and rising imagery works really well with Dick's story...

And it's just plain a gorgeous song! To be applied wherever rebirth imagery is needed. :)

Sarah McLachlan has been ingrained for me as always Ray and Benny from Due South since much of her music and all the Candianess coming out of the show but I'll try it out and see if I heard Bruce and Clark. I'll post after sleep. :)

*bounces* Yes, Sarah is Benny and Ray for me, too! The show used only Canadian artists for their soundtracks and that's how I became a fan, in addition to Loreena McKennitt and others.

However, I can apply the DCU to cool songs, so I'm good. :)

I got them! haven't listened to them, ahem, but I will. I like the Clark song! The 'Master of the Winds' line fits Clark really well for me, I don't know. It sounds magical and regal... Clark as a magic creature! oh, the irony! :)
