Prop 8 Protest and March, Downtown L.A.

So... I'm nearly dead to the world. I got up at 8 to drive to Dave's in downtown L.A., met with him and walked to the L.A. City Hall. Met Court and Pam there and OMG it was so hot. I think if you include the walk to/from my place, it ends up being like 3 miles. NO WAIT, that'd be if it was just from my place and not back. Then it's like 5.5!

Yeah, 'cause California sucks and is burning. But apparently they got huge crowds in San Diego (almost the size of this one) and San Fran and ALL OVER. Including Dallas and Cincinatti and NY and St. Louis etc. Awesome.

I was gonna mention Columbus too, but I thought two Ohio cities was favoring you guys too much and I heard Cincy was bigger and has Margaret Cho. Hee.

Me likely video. Lots. I'm glad we ended up going over the overpass because all the other protests I've been to have had a lot of that supportive honking and it's really uplifting. The way the streets were closed for this one didn't really give us that.

Me too! It made me happy. Yeah, the blocking the streets was helpful if not as exciting. Heh.

Also, my mom says we're not doing anything on the 22nd. I think they thought I was crazy for wanting to go to Sacramento.
