Someone on my flist said that Karen Gillan subscribed to the Sarah Chalke Method of Acting. Thanks, whoever said that. I can't unsee it.*

DALEK BOB LIIIIIIIIIIIIIIVES!

Also: I sooo agree with your assessment of Matt Smith. He's constantly changing and moving and I LOVE IT. There are so few actors out there that can do that, and it makes it infinitely more interesting to watch him in action. :D

=^^=

It's probably the animator in me, but I love watching people move. Ten would be a DREAM to animate, but I'm finding Eleven totally intriguing as well. He does this sort of hunched-over thing and gets in people's faces that I like.

Eleven and his utter lack of personal space: I LOVE IT.

:D

BOB IS ALWAYS CANON. Dr. Who and the Daleks is canon, yes? PETER CUSHING IS A REAL DOCTOR, YES?!

OMG, as I was watching this I kept wondering how much time was left - like, constantly.

The Elf and I watched it together last night and afterward all she said was "Well, it's a good thing that wasn't the first DW ep I ever saw."

When you're 16 minutes in and thinking it's the end of the episode, THAT'S NOT GOOD.

HAHAHA so true.

Yes! That's something like what I love about Smith. I'm just happy watching him because I'm so fascinated by what he's going to do next and that constant CHANGING HIS AGE is brilliant.

I just love the way he carries himself. There's just bits of his mannerisms where I can see previous Doctors and I'M LOVING IT. And yeah, there are moments where he does look like a kid, but then at the same time, there are a few moments where he just looks old and carrying the weight of the world, and it's those changes that I <3 so hard.

PS. I hope you know that every time he makes a hilarious face, all I can think is "I HOPE calapine APPRECIATES THIS LOLARIOUS FACE HE'S MAKING."

It's like he really does channel the other doctors within him. I often see points that I feel "Wow, that was so Second Dr. or Third... he has 'Third' moments a lot *chuckles* But then it's all rolled into a new package of pure bouncing, in your face WIN!

And his hair is getting better! There is hope yet!

I'm rather split - last time I liked the plot enough but wasn't happy with Matt's acting. This time it was the other way around.

On the other hand, I love River, so River + Angels is automatic win for me.

I was just so bored watching it. I mean, it got to the point of me thinking I'd rather just watch the episode on my computer so I can work at the same time (I didn't, for obvious reasons, but the fact that it crossed my mind makes me a sad panda).

I'm just indifferent to River. Don't love her, don't hate her. But finding out more about her does interest me, so that's good, I suppose!

Also: ANGELS. DON'T BLINK.

BLINK AND YOU'RE DEAD!

I need to dig up my Statue of Liberty "Don't Blink" icon.

That's me not blinking. I DON'T WANT TO GET SENT OFF TO THE 20s OR SOMETHING.
