Thanks.

Thank you guys, really, for all your kind words yesterday. It was a tough day for me, and I chatted online with my mom. She said it happened very quickly, and when she and my dad took her to the vet, Gidget didn’t freak out like she usually did. It could be that she could no longer remember the route to the vet’s, but something inside me tells me ( Read more... )

• NOT THE HUB. AND THAT PHALLIC THING WITH THE WATER. THE POOR POOR PLAS.

I was down there last week. There are strawberry decals all over the tower (done every summer) but the Plas is safe and sound.

Can’t be too sure, but this place sure looks like the exact same place Jack, Martha and the Doctor camped out at in “The Sound of Drums”. It’d be kind of neat if it was.

I don't think so, but it does seem to be the same place used for the film-editor kid in 'From Out of the Rain'

• And naturally, Jack would steal something sporty.

I seem to remember reading somewhere that the car Jack steals actually is John Barrowman's IRL. Which makes my brain hurt, if true.

• OH IANTO NO. I SHALL MISS YOU AND YOUR FABULOUS FOREHEAD.

So say we all. *depressed sigh*

Good to know that the big tower thing stands erect still. =^^=

I'm crap at recognizing places where they've filmed previously, so if it looks a teensy bit similar, I automatically think it's the same. I'm known, most of the time, to be wrong.

Oh god, I can totally see him zipping around in that thing. *facepalm*

WOW, you pretty much took the thoughts right out of my head and posted them here. I agree with like 99% of this.

MARTHA IS MARRIED. EEEEEK. I know a lot of people were not onboard with the whole Tom/Martha because her now-husband has really only been referred to and not shown since their relationship has been made canon. Which… yes, I agree with. I’d like to see some of that action rather than be told. I’m sure it comes down to that the actor wasn’t available or something. But EEK. Please, Freema, come back at some point!

YES. YES. I WAS SO HAPPY. I NEARLY DIED.

JACK ASS (see what I did thar?)

I do, I do! YOU ARE MADE OF WIN FOR THIS.

LOL ‘NEED THE MOTH.’ Gwen is quite the typist.

WHAT? When did this happen? XD

Obviously, I haven’t read ALL the Torchwank that has come out of this miniseries, but from what I’ve gathered, people aren’t happy with this death and threatening both RTD and James Moran. Dude. I can understand being upset by killing off a major character, but that’s just not cool. I will miss Ianto dearly, but I don ( ... )

During the scene where Lois is filming everything with the contacts, Gwen types "Need the moth" when she meant "mouth", as in she needed to see Frobisher's mouth to read his lips.

I LOVE ANDY.

I was so giddy at NYCC when Eve Myles answered questions concerning Rhys and PC Andy and that they'd be totally awesome in the miniseries. SHE WASN'T WRONG.

Thanks for the shout-out! And you're welcome, it was fun to draw those boots.

I don't watch Torchwood so that's all I have to say...

AREN'T THEY AWESOME? I have a not so secret desire to dress up like Alex in her awesome 80s outfit.

Torchwood... Torchwood is special. I watch it purely for the sake of entertainment, whereas with Who, it's a tad more involved.

Great fanart.

Oh man the part that really got me in TW was when the man shot his family. I do not blame him one bit. I think I would have gone home and poisioned my kids, rather than have them live 40 plus years in such a state.

The content of the season/series just broke my hear though :( I cried so many times.

I loved that whole sequence of him going upstairs with the gun, going into the room and you hear the three gunshots, then a final fourth one. It's so dramatic and effective and well done.

I was crying through it too, but for other real life reasons. ;__;
