They're filming The Sorcerer's Apprentice in and around Times Square right now. All the film trucks were around last night when we did our fifty billion mile trek to the subway and I guess they're back for more. It must suck because it is really crappy out and raining. Yeah, it does give me a bit of schadenfreude when the golf-brolly-toters come up against one of those funnel-winds that whirls round the corners of NYC high-rises... I much prefer those brollies that have a sort of escape-hatch for the wind to get out.

Same. There was a couple walking side-by-side, each carrying a golf umbrella. It took all my will power to not just shove between them. It is not healthy to contain all this rage!

Probably not. But this is Hollywood, they can stretch out anything.

I personally would love to see magicked brooms running all over New York.

I AGREE WITH THE UMBRELLA THING TOTALLY RIDICULOUS.

btw My roommate ran out of audio books so I lent her The Stone Rose to paint to (finals week, 24-7 studio time). She doesn't know anything about Doctor Who and comes in saying "That guy goes back and forth from Scottish to English easy as pie and it's crazy what the fuck is this!!" So good.

That's hilarious about your roommate! Did she like it at least? And yes, he does! I was listening to some radio thing David Tennant and Catherine Tate hosted that came out around the same time as Planet of the Dead, and John Barrowman showed up. He tried speaking in a Scottish accent to David and an American accent to Catherine and couldn't. IT WAS HILARIOUS.

Oh man, don't worry about it! It's such a huge favor to me, don't let it bother you none.

I think she liked it well enough. I live with rather un-nerdy people, so she described the time-traveling thing as "cute." Which is better than "weird," I suppose. She mostly liked it for his accent and voices. I don't think she'll be a convert any time soon. (I'll keep working on it.)

I'll have to look that up, that sounds awesome!!

Ugh this weather sucks and it is impossible to try and look decent. I do not know how everyone else is managing but I look rained on and sleep deprived. Nice.

Why do some people have such huge umbrella's! There is not that much room for your damn umbrella.

I STILL have to watch the second ep of A2A! I guess at least I will get to watch the second and third back to back!

I never look decent because sleep > looking nice, so I sleep in and only leave about 25 minutes to get ready for work. Well, at least at my job, I can get away with it. T-shirt and jeans, baby!

I think the weather is supposed to get better, though. Hopefully, no more rain.
