I think that INTJs crave human interaction far more than they appear to, despite their general disdain for humanity. Ironically, most of the INTJs I've met (including myself) are fairly sensitive to rejection with our general lack of "normal social skills." I feel that it's important for INTJs to learn how to correspond with people and many of them fail to understand the utility of networking, common conversational matter aka small talk, and general societal standards. Granted, I'm not good at any of these things although I'd classify myself as INTJ-lite, since my Thinking parameter isn't expressed very strongly ( ... )

I think that is certainly true. I sometimes get the feeling that I want to be a part of humanity and will engage with it. I do engage in small talk often with people, but it is never that interesting and it is tedious, but I do recognize it's importance.

I probably should be able to find an INTJ here, but I don't think I've found one. I'm in the Financial Economics Honors Major so there are a lot of NTs and NFs, but unfortunately I haven't come across another INTJ in my major. I bet there are a great deal of them in the more technical majors such as engineering. Oh well I'll probably eventually come across another one.
