So I have to go to NY the first full week of Feb on business, and I learned when getting ready for my trip last week to SA that my suits and blazers and stuff were all too big (I don't wear them all that much except when I travel to corporate stuff, the dress code is much more relaxed here in ABQ). Now, as far as problems go, that's one I don't ( Read more... )

Good finds! Next time you're in Austin we'll hit the Blue Hanger where all clothes are 1.25... it's really like a big rummage sale... but very, very worth it!

Sounds terrif, I can't wait!
Oh, I I don't think the one blazer is houndstooth, I meant wool tweed. I have it on today with a plum tshrt, jeans, and brn shoes.
Oh, and Old Nvy yest had all their red tag stuff an xtra 50% off, so I got a blk butn dwn (with collar) strtchy shrt with dark stripes of red, gry, and wht for $6.50. I already checked and it goes great with the red wool blzr, and w/black pants and shoes it will tone dwn the red of the blzr more. I need to call my sis today, 'cause they had t's for 2.50! Other casual stuff too but I didn't let myself buy any of that since that wasn't what I was there for. What a good girl I am.;) *bats eyelashes*

Beeeeware Old Navy... their clearance is addictive! I love Old Navy jeans, they're the only ones I can find that properly accomadate my backside & thighs, but still have a waist that fits. NOT that I can't make darts, but, you know!

BTW, I'm totally floored by your weight loss. You rock! That's how I could tell just how long it's been since I've seen you!

Almost 30 lbs in 3 months and 50 more to go. It's a long road, but I'm finally up for it and will see it through until I reach goal, however long that takes. I am not really learning anything new at WW, but being accountable by going to meetings once a week and writing everything down really helps. Writing everything down is a pain, but it works, so I do it. And something I learned about myself over the last couple of years is that if I invest in myself I can achieve my goals. I know that sounds like one of those inspirational posters, but it's true. I took those classes and my CBA exam and got a promotion and a raise. I paid for my gym in advance and now I go at least 4 times a week. I pay for WW 3 months at a time and I haven't missed a weekly mtg since I joined. And I feel really good and feel good about myself and my health. Now if I could just get my mgmt to lay off on the stress I would feel the best I have in years ( ... )
