I don't believe in diaries/journals. Eljay is more of a way to keep in touch with others to me.

(1) I've noticed this in communities - people can have noisy, rude, and rather pointless comments, but you always put thought into yours. They're also nice and concise (something I'm terrible at making my comments be.) This shows intelligence, wisdom, and a sort of patience with people.
