Today was extremely crappy. Besides the standard crappiness of what seems to be everyday now, with just an inpending feeling of doom in my life, other specific things today were crappy as well. I didn't get to eat lunch because of an overlap in a make-up quiz and choir practice. I just found out I'm not going to be able to make Guys Quartet ( Read more... )

Oh Micheal Medford. Don't be sad. I saw you today in your new clothes and I must say you looked very spiffy (hehe I love that word) Lately things for me have be crappy as well, and maybe I made them that way. Then I looked back in my journal and read my entries from last year and was like wow, I was really bi-polar. So yeah I made things stop being crappy, or at least less crappy than they were.

~ by the way I have no idea if what I said made sense or helped~

i know why you feel crappy. it's because i feel awesome. my life is a mess, but for once i'm not. it's the way these things work; it's all about balance. that was my attempt at humor. haha. trying to cheer you up. maybe? i would always love to talk to you.

ummm michael, i worry about you sometimes:

i do have to say, looking at your archive, every other post is up down up down. know what i mean?

see what katie said about the bi-polar-ness of her journal? i was wondering if this applies to your moods as well. i don't see you too often, so i can't tell you what i see, but i was wondering if maybe you or your friends notice anything "different" about your behavior/moods.

i'm not meaning to anger or worry anyone by bringing up these concerns, but from what i've read, you have periods (ranging a few or more days, maybe week) of almost-manic happiness, followed by sudden downfalls of the most awful depressive states. (or what you call "emo")

i'm just wondering if you yourself have noticed, you can talk to me about it if you want, or have me delete this comment. i was just being a worried jewish grandmother...

feel better, things will look up.
and cabaret night is going to be a lot of fun, don't worry.

I have noticed it, but never really taken it seriously. Don't worry aobut me... I'll be fine. I just need to realize that I need to stop being such a bitch when it comes to life. I'll be fine, but thank you for your concern.

"I'll be fine" but you're not fine yet... i'm not sure whether your acting skills help to push things in and out of such extremes but it isn't something you should just ignore it all and blow it off as an over reaction. i think you've seen far too many (more than 0 is too many btw) suffer from ignoring things myself included. don't be so harsh on yourself. you're only human.

oh and we're gonna worry whether you tell us you'll be fine or not.

mike, all i can say is that you're gonna get through it all. it seems impossible sometimes... or maybe a lot (i know only what i read) but its not always bad and i think you know that. its quite possible that you realy do (subconciously?) want things to be bad. trust me. its much easier to be unhappy than it is to be happy. think of all thats going on in the world. is it any wonder why people feel depressed? we always here about the tragic fire that claimed 10 lives, or the accident that killed a child or the man who was murdered down the street far more often than we here about the adoption story of a dog who would have been put to sleep otherwise or the... okay yeah i can't come up with anything positive. see? we hear about the people killed in the war but never about the progress made and the innocent lives saved. we hear about a flood that destroyed homes more than the local fundraiser for cancer research ( ... )
