That's Dee & I's song. :`) I'd never seen the video for it before, we'd only listened to it. I had it as a ringtone for when Dee called me. Back in college ('97), we both used IRC to chat, and could trigger the song to play on each other's computer. Now that's an excellent memory...

It's been a year since my last public entry... and I'm back from my second burn for a week now, and just getting around to updating! I had such a blast and so many great experiences this year... so I guess you should expect more silence? LOL!

Spent an amazing week in the desert. Trying to recover a bit this early afternoon before tackling the unloading this afternoon, and getting the rental cleaned & returned tomorrow. Looking forward to Decom, but missing home.

It was a low traffic day on the drive to work, but that doesn't mean that there weren't odd things to see in traffic. For instance, there was a convoy of 5 buses heading in the opposite direction that was lead by a police car with its lights on. I've been trying out Ping.fm lately for updating my status on the various sites that I'm on, but it's only been for statuses so far. Well, no longer. I'm trying a blog post through Ping.fm so I can see how it gets posted everywhere. Hopefully I can get it all figured out!

After a game against I-AA Furman, there's not a lot to talk about as I didn't see the game or listen to any coverage. Since I didn't see the game, I really don't know what happened. I expected Furman to be held to 7 points, but I also expected the Hokies to score more than 24. Next week's game is the first ACC tilt of the season, so hopefully it ( Read more... )

First off, congratulations to the East Carolina Pirates. I think they just gave every other Hokie opponent a playbook on how to beat our team this year. And shown that BeamerBall, by itself, isn't a lock to win a game. It probably shouldn't have been as close as it was, but I'll take it!
