Haha! I reached Christmas 12 hours before you losers!

Anyway, have a good one. It's weird to be in a country where they don't celebrate it. I got hammered last night and now I'm up a bit too early. In a few hours we'll go to our Christmas dinner.

Woohoo, it's a day off. Julie and I reallly need to get health insurance. A newer teacher has just learned her lesson the hard way - she was sick for awhile and got pneumonia and had to stay in the hospital. So Saturday a bunch of us piled into a bus to head to our sister-school in Torun for a thrilling day of workshops! Unfortunately, I was getting a cold. I'm irritatingly stressed today. It's almost exam time, which means you (often) have to make up lessons from scratch instead of moving forward in the book. This stress is paralyzing - I catch myself taking too long to do stuff, like waking up, taking a shower, or going on the internet. I have to be ready for three lessons in about 4 hours.
