SPN #5x05 Fallen Idols (episode review)

I'm pretty tired and got a headache coming on again... *sigh*... but here's my review for this ep. Hope it's somewhat coherent. ;) Again, I'd appreciate it if there's no bashing of either character. Thanks in advance.

1-Sam needs to teach Dean how to speak Spanish because that was really hot.
2-Sam looked really hot with the blood on his face.
3-I was frightened for Dean when he went under the car.
4-I thought that Abraham Lincoln was going to kill Sam.
5-The wax figures scared me.
6-Dean and Sam need to be tied up more often.
7-Dean was adorable when he spoke to the car.
8-It was really wonderful to hear Dean laugh and smile (even if it was for a bit) again.
9-I thought that Papa Winchester was going to make an appearance when Paris told Dean that his father was his idol.
10-Next week episode confuses me.

Actually I'll just say I agree to all of it, lol. The "Soon" part was for a few episodes actually. I think it showed previews of episodes 6-8 so yeah, I guess it could be a confusing mish-mash.

I totally had flashbacks to Wendigo too! That and The Benders when Sam teased Dean for getting beat up by Paris (like how Dean said Sam was getting rusty when he let the little girl get the drop on him).
This episode was OK in my book. A little boring at times but I liked that they did all the research on their own. Felt like a good 'ol MOTW S1 ep to me.
I'm glad they finally acknowledged that Dean broke the first seal too. I was wondering if he even told Sam before but it must've been off camera since Sam didn't seem that surprised by it.
Hopefully we'll see their relationship become stronger. I found myself saying that "I love that rut!" when Sam was complaining about it lol.

And that SOON promo. AWESOME!! I'd say it's the best one since the one since Nazareth. And those boys could so have their own CSI!! haha.

Ooh, thanks for bringing up The Benders, I'd almost forgotten about that. But Sam teasing Dean like that kind of reminded me of that episode Too!

Yeah, it did drag a bit in places, but with the MOTW it did feel more like a S1 episode. Been missing that for a while. :)

I was worried that they were never going to address it, but I'm so glad they finally did. I noticed Sam didn't seem too surprised, so that's my theory too - that it happened off-screen. Which kinda stinks, actually. I would have liked to have seen Sam's initial reaction. But oh well.

I hope so too. I loved that rut myself, lol

The Soon promo was WIN. I totally forgot they had one at the end of 4x20 too, but it wasn't as long as this one. Loved the music in the background, and totally dug the boys in their CSI! :D

Exactly. I loved the funnies in this episode. Just their expressions alone had me cracking up big time.

Thanks! :D Don't ask me how I do it... I get all fangirly over it too, but I have to shove it all to the back of my mind so I can write something coherent (though I HATE doing that sometimes, lol). The promo was all kinds of AWESOME. :)

Did anyone notice: Dean wearing his leather coat at the end?! I went back and checked twice, he's wearing the leather coat for the first time in awhile!! *Squees*

I went back and looked too (don't know how I missed it the first time), and you're right! I was so glad to see it again... I wonder if his wearing it again means anything, or maybe I'm just looking for something that isn't there.

In any event... *squeeeeee*
