I got into one of my dream schools, but my mom won't let me go. Instead, she wants me to go to Cal, which only offered me admission for the SPRING semester. So I'd have to attend that stupid fall program...

My heart is breaking. I don't know what the point of applying anywhere was anymore.

COLLEGES ARE COMING!

...and some have already arrived :)

My stomach is in knots but I haven't been this happy since I met James McAvoy.

I'm feeling nostalgic these days. 
Like that guy (Grant?) from The Holland of the Mind.

I just realized how far away I'm going to be from everyone else.

The drive from San Diego to Los Angeles is two to three hours.

The plane ride from CA to MA is five and a half hours long.  Same for PA and NY.

Expect bold, outrageous gestures of love from now on.

Everyone is talking about college and I refuse to be any different.

At the moment, my dream colleges feel very far away. Fourteen days to be exact.

Today after art class my dad and I had a very long talk about college. I think he's come to terms with the fact that I want to be an art major. He hopes I'll switch over to architecture though, or interior design. I told him that if he wanted me to do design, he should've let me apply to RISD.
