Oh, dear, where have I gone?

Let's see...I think China (including Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macao, and PRC), Cambodia, Singapore, Japan in Asia.
Canada, the US, Guetamala, Costa Rica and Mexico (the Americas)
Spain, France, Italy, Greece, the UK, Ireland, Switzerland and Poland (Europe. I may be missing one?)

Where am I going? I have no idea. In the semi-near future, it woudln't surprise me if I end up in Poland, Germany, or Australia for work. I think I'm scheduled to make it up to Canada for trade show, although I could see traveling around Canada, too, or even making it to other parts of the world. (If you can dig up stuff there, there's at lesat some rationale for me to go there.) Of course, work travel isnt' super exciting. (Trust me, even the most beautiful cities in China are kind of sucky when you have to work, adjust to jet lag, and are sick at the same time! Eeek!)

You get to travel all over the country to live too :P

It depends on the work travel - DH's is pretty fun. ;)

He gets to go to the world's fanciest restaurants, where they make their fanciest dishes for him to photograph... and then he eats them. Somehow he always comes back skinnier though... running around too much I guess.

This is true. I'm wondering how many places I will live before I die. Probably more than I can count on both hands. (Actually, I think I'm already there...not sure that I've exhausted my toes yet, though.)

DH does sound like he has the ideal life for traveling. *sigh* I do get to eat in fancy restaurants, but generally I'm so exhausted that I just order room service. Oh well...I've totally learned all the good chain restaurants with bland, fairly healthy meals in the US. (Seriously...it's kind of pathetic.)

That tree picture is seriously cool.

Have you ever done any amigurumi? I'm trying to learn in order to make some projects for friends, but it's so different from what I'm used to that my progress has been pretty slow. But the idea of doing a little Archdemon is just too tempting too give up.

Thanks! We need to get back up there. There's these amazing glacier lakes there we never got to see.

I've never been able to get into crochet, I did knitting for a while but I decided it didn't suit me. It's so slow...

I love looking at amigurumi, though. This is one of my favorite sites for it: geek central station. An Archdemon would be fantastic! I love cuddly representations of things that are not cute and fuzzy ;)

About my favorite amigurumi is the Discworld one. I'd love to try something like that sometime. (And ohh, that link is fantastic. My kids would go nuts for the amigurumi Links.)
