I've e-mailed this clip around to so many people. It's still disgusting that some people just don't get it. *rage*

Yeah Maine, you fucked up an I'm gonna let you finish but Washington had the best results.

I am also so pissed off that the special interest groups tried to do the same thing here in Washington after we'd already passed a law. Seriously, get the fuck out of my state.

The even scarier thing is that referendum 71 was defeated in several counties by a wide margin but since King county is so large (and the surrounding counties) it looks like it's going to pass.

Some of the heavy hitters in the state gave money to yes on 71. How much clearer does it need to be for these morons?

Sorry... sorry just a little ticked off at special interest groups fucking with my state.

I know! Would that the results in California last year had been a similar bird flipped to the out-of-state hatemongers.

I'm still so disappointed in CA. It makes no sense.

You know what gets me about the special interest groups? This quote:

At the No on 71 gathering in Everett, Pastor Ken Hutcherson of Antioch Bible Church called the outcome "a victory regardless of the vote," pointing to a series of what he called impossible victories by Referendum 71 opponents throughout the campaign.

"We're praying that the vote comes through for us," he said. "If the vote doesn't come through tonight, we'll try again."

Dude, you lost. The voters in the major counties told you to go fuck yourself and you want to come back and try again? That there, that is the very definition of insanity.

I know you totally didn't intend this, but reposting Keith's Prop 8 SC made me think of the WTF Moment in which he did a "WTF Coherency Test" when Limbaugh's PR dude said that the counter-challenge (the one which said that MSNBC would stop talking about Rush if Rush would stop talking about himself) was "incoherent."

That said, reposting the Prop 8 SC is TOTALLY RELEVANT to our interests. And I wouldn't be surprised if Keith either had his Countdown crew re-patch it into tonight or a near-future episode, or wrote another SC along these lines. >_>;

Confession: Even though I posted it, I didn't watch it. My heart (and my tear ducts) cannot take it. Oh, Keith. ♥
