It's because cases of the same flu have been suspected or diagnosed in the States (California, Texas, possibly New York), so it is still spreading. :-|

I'm glad to hear you're not in the affected states, but yeah, the economic repercussions of this will likely echo for a while.

Add Kansas to the list D: -- and yeah, NYC. There were also around 300 new cases in Mexico City in the last two days, so I'm sure your interpretation is right.

Not touching people will not be a problem to me :B. There's going to be more than a little dose of paranoia in the next days.
