So depressing yet so funny

This is much more fun if you have heard the original song (by Fergie and the Black Eyed Peas) and/or have seen the original video. My Humps, arranged, acted and sang by Alanis Morissette; pay close attention to the lyrics if you haven't done it before:

That song is amazingly bad. It's sort of sad that the better version is the parody.

It's one of those songs I use to study, because it is the rythm and not the lyrics what I pay attention to. Catchy tune, horrible song. And the Black Eyed Peas video, oh my god, I couldn't believe it was for real the first time. Now I just laugh and shake my head =).

And that parody is oh so awesome, in this context.

Ahaha, awesome! I was looking for this! I saw it some time ago and lost the link. I remember watching it the first time and BOGGLING, lol. It's a very brilliant parody, but even by itself, it's awesome.

You're welcome. The parody is really W.T.F. if you don't know the original song, isn't it? Like, what the hell is this woman thinking?! Hilarious. But once you compare it to the original ... XD

Well, I knew the original. How could I not, when they were playing it on the radio more or less 24/7 *shudders at memory*. The person who pointed that Morissette vid out to me didn't know it, though, and when I told her it had to be a parody she was all like, oh! Right! It all makes sense now! Lol ;).

This is Canadian humor at its very best. Lol.

I got the Black Eyed Peas CD as a gift last year, and eventually gave it to my brother. The funny part is that yesterday I played the parody video in my laptop, and asked him if he recognized the lyrics; he wasn't looking at the screen. He couldn't, but his English is not good so it didn't coun't, right ( ... )
