But in the past we both agree that most wars aren't fought over belief, but over money and land and power.
So if our country is being starkly divided amongst two camps, and pushing towards such an goal, one might ask who's to gain from it?
This constant spewing of theory, rhetoric, and outright fiction is either due to our leaders and politicians and media being incompetent, or doing this intentionally.
The best weapon any person can, in either camp, is knowledge of the facts.
I think many of the issues are born of people NOT understanding what's really going on, and just listening to what the talking heads and the politicians (who I'm finding out are probably equally in the dark about what's in a bill, though I'm working on learning more before saying anything about it) are saying it's going to do, what it means, or what's in it.
