A busy Saturday...worked four hours in the dispensary, packed for Florida, made arrangements for Gus while I'm gone, finished putting together everything for the big Optometry Scavenger Hunt tonight. I drove back to Bloomington today. It felt good to get settled back into my apartment...even though it's quieter than life Wisconsin. I finished up some stuff for school and repacked for my trip to Philedelphia tomorrow. I'll fly back in late on Sunday night, and then jump right back into classes on Monday morning. I drove down to Iowa City yesterday to visit my childhood best bud Ash, who's a nurse on a pediatric oncology floor of the University Hospital. We drank wine, went out for dinner, made christmas cookies, watched movies, and went shopping...all of our favorite pasttimes. It's Friday...I just got back from my last afternoon of clinic for the semester. It was a busy day and we were understaffed, so I got to do some contact lens fittings which usually is sent to another part of our clinic. I like the variety and the day went fast.
