There's an article going around written by a Jewish woman that is critical of Israel. Here are a couple of responses.  Personal opinions of these people aside, I will share mine.

No doubt. I guess I expected something else from the Jewish camp. I don't know. I think the camp was conservative.

in my experience, those things more often than not go hand in hand. though of course it's possible that this is not the case here.

According to the writer, her own sister knew perfectly well where to start learning about Israel, while the writer chose to go with what her husband thought about it. It looks like the writer simply cannot think on her own, she needs someone to tell her what to think. Now that is truly painful.
