brilliant. i feel mindfucked reading this because i don't know what's real and what's not, and that's exactly how i want to feel. i love how it's the same and different at the same time. i may like your version better. xD

Just let the Sun burn down. Jin knew it wouldn’t affect the Moon so much and therefore it wouldn’t cause him any worriment as long as he could still feel Kame inside of him, filling him, making him whole again.

There was an only one way ticket to Mars. That night, Jin saw the stars.

this is perfect. i love that you pulled from maia's fic, too. i love maia's thematic writing and am honored to be associated with her in any way. thank you so much for the obvious time and effort you put into this. i'll be thinking about the end all day.

personally i like to write with open interpretation, which makes challenges like these so fun because a lot of my fics CAN be read different ways and i like seeing what other people do with them. i don't think there is a "wrong" interpretation because everyone looks through different eyes, right? like i said, i found this fascinating because you did keep to the actual plot line down to the exact same scenes, but with different dialogue and narration despite having the same themes. that amazed me, to be honest. it wasn't just telling the same story from another point of view, it was reliving the same story in a different life, or something like that. there are so many different ways to remix and that's why i love doing it, not only challenging myself but also seeing what comes out of another pair of eyes interpreting my own fic ( ... )

I did read both the 2 version of this fic - the original and the remix and I think both of them are great. XD~
You made some changes to the fic by reverse the timeline, which I love so much. But somehow, I was a bit confused and had to re-read the previous paragraph to catch up with the plot. Maybe you can change the font (in italic?) to resolve the problem? Oh, and it's just my opinion, I am not sure if other readers encounter the same case. Sometimes I am too dense to fully and quickly get the gist. :(
Last but not least, seriously, "Ms. Author-san", you're so M, in both RL and fiction world. LOL~ Be more positive & optimistic! Even in such angsty fic, the original one has brighter ending than yours. :) Let our beloved Akame be happily ever and ever after for once, pretty please? *puppy's eyes* XD~
