personally i like to write with open interpretation, which makes challenges like these so fun because a lot of my fics CAN be read different ways and i like seeing what other people do with them. i don't think there is a "wrong" interpretation because everyone looks through different eyes, right? like i said, i found this fascinating because you did keep to the actual plot line down to the exact same scenes, but with different dialogue and narration despite having the same themes. that amazed me, to be honest. it wasn't just telling the same story from another point of view, it was reliving the same story in a different life, or something like that. there are so many different ways to remix and that's why i love doing it, not only challenging myself but also seeing what comes out of another pair of eyes interpreting my own fic.
