13 hours from now, I'll be on my way to NY! I can't believe the semester is over. But I'm very glad that is the case. Have a great break everyone. All my Rice friends - I'll miss you much! All my NY friends - See you soon!

Since I never update my lj, and since I should really be writing my paper that's due in about 14 hours, I just wanted to pop in and let everyone know I'm still alive. So the whole hurricane thing wasn't a big deal at all. I didn't get blown away. My window didn't break. The power didn't go out and I didn't have to sleep in the bathroom. I think for all those reasons I should celebrate.

So... it looks like we are having a hurricane.
I hope we don't lose power for more than 24 hours.
I hope Friday classes are cancelled.
I feel a little nervous.
My parents were supposed to come, but now they aren't. hmmm.
I think it will be fine, but we'll see...

Despite how much I complain about ridiculous things, my life is really, truly fabulous in many, many ways. I am so happy to be right here, right now.

AHHHH!!!! Finals week is KILLING me! So stressed!
