Was woken up at 4:30 this morning. Water in the house wasn't going. It had been working just before I went to bed. Anyway, Dad and I checked out the pump-house. Water from the spigot, so the pump itself was working. One of the heat bulbs that keep the pipes from freezing was out. changed bulbs, and that didn't work. Remember this Per US Gallon. I think europe uses per liter, doesn't it?

Yes, it's per liter.
But there was a time we payed the same price for one liter that you payed for one gallon.
We are just over 1.5€ per liter now.

(I got a diesel engine and pay reduced price, advantage of working for a transport firm :) )

Let's see 1 US Gallon = 3.785411784 liters according to my calculator conversion. At approximately $3/gallon that would mean $.79/liter or 1.22€ per liter. Approximately, using the latest currency conversion.
