The reason that the auger gears broke? No one put in grease in the gearbox. That falls under warranty, and we'll have to run over to home depot to get it. (probably in the next few days ( Read more... )

Maybe. They're watchable, but really get some stutter every once in a while. (makes no difference between playing directly from the disc versus on the hard disk.)

Indeed, Complete fail. At least home depot reimbursed us for the parts. we ate the cost of the labor. unfortunately.
