I use my old page-a-day desk calendar pages as note paper. I've just now got around to Dec. 7th. This is from my Yarn Harlot Knitters Calendar ( Read more... )

*smiles* I like it. Remember...way back when you sent the Celine Dion page a day desk calendar? I was just thinking about it today. It was a nice calendar.

Calendars are great. As you know I'm using a 2003 still. I also used to take old calendars at the end of the year, and cut out any photos I particularly liked, with the idea of making photos from them.

I used to save old calendars, or at least cut out the pictures I liked, but we moved soooo many times between 1993 and 2004, that eventually I gave up and threw them all out rather than pack them. It is actually hard for me to believe that I've now lived in the same house since May 2004. FIVE and a half years! Whooo!

My mom uses one of those webpages that tells you which years have the same start and end dates for the weeks, so that she can reuse her old calendars. http://www.timeanddate.com/calendar/repeating.html?country=1&year=2010

Oh that's an interesting idea. If you had a calendar that you really loved, I could see it would be nice to re-use it.

But there are so many nice calendars, that's the probelem. If you re-use you you are sort of missing an opportunity to use a new one.

I agree. Completely missing the opportunity to use a new one.
